07/20 - 07/22 - Bellingham, WA

Joe and Ruth you are the poster kids for the C-Brats Group. It is fine people like you that make us want to stay connected.

We owe you a huge DEBT of gratitude because you talked us into our first C-Dory several years back and you were behind us the whole way when we purchased the TUG.

The event sure reflected your hearts. It was HUGE

Thanks
Kim & Kirby

Thanks to Ruth & Joe...must agree with all you two are the greatest!!!!

Thanks also to all of you folks for making it such a wonderful group to visit each and every time!

Amy and I sure had a nice 3 day weekend. Really enjoyed seeing Bellingham for the first time.

Now off to Montana tomorrow after work for 4 days to visit family and see a new nephew born July 10th.

Safe travels and boating to all.

John :smiled

Finally home and attempting to catch-up...

WOW! What a wonderful group of people - Tricia and I can not thank everyone enough for all of your grand hospitality.

Ruth and Joe - Thank you for all of the tremendous work you did in organizing this event and for making two strangers feel at home.

Tom and Susan (Susan-E) - Thank you for the trip to Orcas Island on your 22 - we hope not to break your string of giving rides to future C-Dory owners!

Shelly and Lyle (Bess-C) - Thank you for the ride back from Orcas on your 25 - a wonderful craft.

Joan and Jim (Wild Blue) - Thank you for letting us on your boat and look around - Tricia says thanks as she needed a 'kitty fix' and Molly's purring did the trick.

And finally thank you to everyone who was kind enough to invite us onto their boats and greet us with a smile. We look forward meeting with you all again.

Wow, and that participation was on a July weekend disguised as March. Wind, rain, more of the same, yet from many places we came.

Droplets of liquid couldn't extinguish the warm friendships rekindled at the second annual Bellingham Bash. And again it was made possible by two hard-working locals who did all they could to accommodate and spoil attending Brats. They succeeded.

I really think, Joe and Ruth, that to keep up with yourselves and our heightened expectations, you might consider quarterly gigs at your digs.
Thank you so much for a seamless reception, your giving spirit and your kind hearts. Big hugs!
:love

Also some high-fives to all my watermates. Bill and El, thanks for your warm regards and verbal gifts. Jim and Joan, nice to meet your fuzzy four-legger. Thanks for loaning her out to attendant Cat People. Les and Les, seems I see you less and less. Still, I was able to eavesdrop on a mechanical lesson. Great to see you two.

Pat and Patty, David, Caryn and Peter, San Diego Don, Fred and Robbin, Dave and Carol, John and Amy, Lyle and Shelly, Oldgrowth Dave, Robbi, Lisbeth and Roger, and everyone else, thanks for attending and bringing your smiles and good cheer.

And thanks to Byrdman Pat for his tireless repertoire of regional idioms, heretofore unknown expressions and colloquialisms that kept this Cat's head tilted west, his facials confused, fellow water rats amused. Twenty mile per hour wind, assertive rain, a clock moving to midnight and six wet guys standing on the dock, entertained by our dry comedian from the South.

Fireman Dave, thanks for the tie-up, and finally, big thanks to Patti of C-Cakes for the ride to Anacortes to pick up my truck and trailer!
See ya'al 'round the point.
