I would also like to catch a ride for the factory tour! Patty may or may not go, but I want to for sure.

I too need a ride to the factory. Joanie won't want to go and will want to sleep in, as I'm sure she DOESN'T love the smell of fiberglass in the morning!

Mark from NMI has graciously volunteered to pick us up at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the top of our ramp. That's about 200 feet west of the harbormaster's office, the showers, and such. We can talk about that with those who will be there Friday. For those driving directly to the factory, figure 9:30 a.m. at NMI. Also, if we want a ride back Mark needs to get us to Squalicum by 10:30. His son has an event he wants to attend. In past years I've walked leisurely back, as there's much to see.

I forgot to add that Reverend Pat can be subpoenaed for boat christenings should you desire.

I will also need a ride to the factory tour. I haven’t seen the sign-up sheet for this event, nor for the factory door. However I am planning to be there In my 16’er

Signup for the C-Brat gathering is linked in the first message of this thread. HERE it is again, though.

There's no signup sheet for the Factory Tour. If you are getting yourself there, just show up at 9:30AM. If you need a ride over - reply here so we can get a rough number of seats needed for transport.

We are bobbing around in Birch Bay, and heading south after we pull our crab pots. We’ll be slogging along into the wind, no doubt a slow and rough ride!

Hey folks just a heads up, the port has the wrong dock reserved, so they want us over at Gate 3, NOT gate 9 as the original event description said. This is the North Basin, aka, the "Old Section", but fear not it's actually quite nice, way more shore power options, I think we'll like it over here. From the bay enter the "South Entrance" to the north basin, by the commercial fishing boats, and head all the way in. This dock is currently full but port said will be cleared by noon. I just moved over from gate 9.

Hi everyone. It's a busy few days, right? I'm not going to put the boat in Friday or Saturday, but I can help with transportation Saturday morning. I'll be at the marina around 9 am and can give three or four people a ride in my truck, PM me for my cell I guess.

Dear wife is working today and 3pm tomorrow and Sunday. Maybe I'll be able to get out for a little ride Sunday morning or just have someone take a look at the boat and let me know what they think.

So far it's amazing. Can I name a boat after my wife?

As mentioned the marina has us over at a different location this year. Currently 6 boats at the dock (and at least 4 other couples/Brats who drove without boat), and room for maybe 3-4 more boats depending on sizes.

Mike R beat me with a photo, but here is another one of the boats at the Bellingham C-Brat Get-Together. Lovely conversation on the dock and dinner at Nicki's Bella Marina right above where we are docked. We are in a different spot this year, Gate 3 Guest Dock right below the restaurant, San Juan Sailing and Bellingham Yacht Club. It is actually better for our little gathering! Seven boats are in, and Joe and Ruth Wetnall and Fred Young came by boatless for the afternoon!

Well, we have tied the ribbon on another great Bellingham C-Brat Get-Together! It was great fun with new and old friends! Saturday evening was one of the most fun times ever. The usual super potluck of course, and then a pat on the back to Patty for a great trivia quiz. The factory tour was great, and a big shout out to Mark Wrignt and Ryan Binning for the wonderful box of swag for trivia quiz prizes! There were several C-Dory jackets, a couple of C-Dory hats, three C-Dory floot mats (the first prizes chosen), water bottles, and key chains. Everyone won a prize! We finished the frivolities with a sing-along (Pat on guitar and Patty on uke), which lyric sheets we handed out. I am pretty sure everyone left with a smile on their face!

It was great to meet everyone. Thanks for being so friendly as I am getting into this. Looking forward to seeing everyone next year, I'll bring the family.

Bruce, it was nice to meet you and thanks for the ride to the factory. Very cool that you’ll be introducing your family to the waters via a C-Dory.

I loved your boat, it’s the kind I’d ideally have if I could (maybe someday soon).

Feel free to get in touch with questions and if you want to talk more about fishing .. See you out there I hope!

It was a great time! Joanie & I especially enjoyed it and meeting new friends.

Oh, and teacher Patty; there are indeed squirrels in the San Juan Islands. See them almost every day! :P
