OK, then! Just got off the phone with Paul Knippel, the Port of Bellingham service rep Joe and Ruth said we needed to connect with, and we have reserved all of P Dock at Squalicum Harbor for the nights of FRIDAY, AUGUST 21, 2015, and SATURDAY, AUGUST 22, 2015. I advised Paul we would be arriving all through the day on Friday and be on our way Sunday the 23rd after breakfast. Pencil these dates in for now. Paul said he would get back to me if they conflicted with anything else they had going on.

Nice one Pat. Bellingham is a great place, and a fun ride. Looking forward to this one. Not sure which direction I will be coming in from but I can find B'ham on the GPS.

Thanks, Byrick! Given a choice, and if we could have the potluck at the Squalicum Yacht Club, Saturday would be preferred!

Good news Brats we have availability for the SYC hall Friday and Saturday. So if we want we can have an informal gathering Friday as people get to Btown, maybe a breakfast and pot luck on Saturday night. Thoughts?
 
Anyone invited the factory yet? Since this is going to be in thier own back yard. As well, maybe we can set up a tour of the new facilities on Saturday?If no one has done such yet I will extend an invite. I jhave been looking for am excuse to get down there myself.

Bump! For anyone who is wondering, yes, the Bellingham CBGT is still on! We will be announcing a few details after Ladysmith, but we have all of P Dock, you do not need a separate reservation or anything. Please sign up!
 
Very excited...just signed up for the Bellingham gathering which kicks off a 2 week trip!!!

Looking forward to seeing the gang again and then heading out for some R&R!

We have all of P Dock, and it would be a shame if we did not fill it up!

We will be posting a few more details, probably tomorrow or the next day, but there will be pizzas for dinner Friday night on the dock, and omlettes for breakfast Saturday morning!

Bring your chairs, and if you have a table or folding canopy (rain cover) please bring that too!
 
Pat, I'm sure looking forward to your little party up north. Bellingham will be great big fun, as it always delivers a multitude of activities for the boys and girls of Bratville. I like the walk to downtown, to the campus and to Fairhaven. Can't forget the Old Town Cafe for breakfast. The waterfront and marina are very nice, too.

Reports are that the bay that weekend will be uncommonly calm, temperatures mild. I'll have spent that week in the Gulf Islands, motoring my little Bambina boat here and there, poking around and being curious.

Brock, can't wait to hook up in B'ham!

Old Town Cafe is indeed wonderful for breakfast, but we will be competing for your business on P Dock! Here is what we are thinking:

We will have a big pot of boiling water on a propane burner and a lot of egg mixture. People will bring a bit of this and that to go into omlettes...onions, peppers, sausage, bacon, whatever! People will put whatever they like into a plastic sandwich baggie of egg mixture, we will mark it with their initials with a Sharpie, and into the the water bath it will go! We have tried this and it works!

And pizzas, don't forget, on the dock on Friday evening!
 
Hey you Brats!! Excited to hear that you have a gathering planned for Bellingham August 21-23!! We should have a few C-Dory's in production during that time so that you could come take a look at how they are made!! Please let me know when you were thinking of touring the facility and we will make sure to have someone here to show you around. Currently in the factory we have a 26' Venture, 2 22' Cruisers, and a 23' Venture Sport. We will spray a Tomcat Hull on Monday!! Check out some shots of these boats at the C-Dory Facebook page!! Please let me know what you guys have planned for that weekend!!

Pat, it turns out there's no competition and Old Town Cafe came in a distant second! Count me in for your boiling cauldron of groovy breakfast grub on the dock. And the saltier and more outdoorsie the better. I could maybe even add a jellyfish or piling perch. A small one.

Mark Wright: I'd be happy to take a tour of your facility and see how our boats are made. That's nice of you to offer.

The best day for a tour would be Saturday, August 22nd, it would be great if you could have the factory open and somebody there to show the Brats around! I have PM'd you so we can figure out some details!

A couple of things!

First, I talked to the kind folks at LFS Marine and Outdoors today, and it looks like they will be offering C-Brats a 10% discount on eveyrthing except downriggers and electronics. Stay tuned, I need to confirm this via email with the store manager Zack Miller!

Second, as your humble Official C-Brat Rev, I will be reprising my function from Friday Harbor and Ladysmith in christening any boats in need of a christening, and can provide denaming services also, at my nominal fee of...zero! So PM me about any denamings / christenings so I can make a list and get the certificates perpared! I take this very seriously, as photos from Ladysmith clearly demonstrate!
