09/20 - 09/22 - 7th Annual NC Gathering

We are now back to internet browsing and the C-Brat site.

This year I will try to post my photos afterward!
It will be good to see everyone again--and the new people too.

I see that we are too late for T-shirts. Oops. Maybe next year.
Would love to do the aftertrip, but have to get back to classes on Monday.
Maybe in 5 years!!!!!

Today is the 30th of August. The summer has gone by in a whirl wind. We are just a couple weeks from the gathering. Carrie and Gene from Mobile East Marine will be assisting us this year, as they have in the past so I wanted to thank them ahead of time for all their help.

I need to help our son with the staging of the Bluenose Regatta.

Skimmer still hopes to make it. Bob, my usual crew, has jumped ship for this one, so I've become a "Press Gang" of one to find another crewman.

What's the plan for Saturday? Lunch in Beaufort was pleasant - could stand to do that again. Seems I saw an agenda but can't find it on the thread now?.

Anyway, up for just about anything on/near the water. Looking forward to it.

Lou, We will do pot-luck Dinner at the Marina on Friday night. Then down to Beaufort for Lunch On Sat. Then BBQ dinner on Saturday back at the Marina. Some folks may stay on or in the area after the gathering so you might plan for another day. On Sat. you might be able to pick up a crew for the ride down to Beaufort. I know at least one couple who are planning to attend without their boat. They sold their 16 and just bought a 22 On friday if you need help at the Boat Ramp or bringing your Rig around. Ernie will be there to help you. If you are arriving before Friday please let me know we are close by so we can help out if needed. I think we will be there thursday evening.

Looks like Skimmer is not going to make this trip after all. Sorry to miss the cruise and the company.
