We will be hosting another Gulf Coast Gathering for all our C Dory and Ranger Tug friends as well as our new Rosborough and Eastern and Seaway friends and customers. I think its the 7th or 8th installment and hope to continue this tradition well into the future .Ill have to ask Bill and Brenda on Falcon from Arkansas, as they have never missed one !
The water street hotel has blocked 10 rooms and slips for the weekend with reservations which will be reopened to the public 9/25 .If you want a room or slip , please contact them and mention the Wefings group . There is a wedding that weekend so it will probably be filling fast . There are new owners at the Hotel and they are excited to have the group there.Their slips are great as well as the location. We will host Sun. Breakfast there around the pool .
We also have a few slips in the Battery Park Marina available , as well as on the Apalachicola waterfont downtown.
Still getting final confirmation on where we will gather , but we will likely be back at Rivercrest .
We will be hoping to get some factory representation there if we can and just have a typically great time !
Looking forward to this fun event . Hope to see all of you there .

we will be the second! For those who have not been--this is a chance to both have some of the best food at any gathering as well as in the South!

Also I suspect to hear the band, with Marc on bass, and the ex Mayor of Valdosta Ga on the drum--something not to be missed. Met some very interesting folks there--right out of story books!
 
I was looking forward to the Gulf Coast gathering ,thought the gathering would be the week before .We are involved in our Naples cruise club welcome back party that weekend . I know I will miss the c-brats and Marc and his gracious hosting company .If one has not attended this is a Great weekend to meet and greet c-brats and others and see some great boats .Have fun Jim (jennykatz_)
 
Hi Everyone,

We are starting to look at boats and the C-Brats lifestyle. This would be a great opportunity for us to learn firsthand and participate in the fun when the weather is cooler in Colorado :-).

Is there room for newbies on the sign-up list?

Give Marc a call I'm sure he would love to show you his line of boats and you then could meet lots of c-brats and see our boats first hand . Good Luck in your quest . Jim
 
Absolutely a great place for Newbies--and you will get to ride in some boats, since typically we have a "cruise" on Saturday with some of the boats. Usually many of us go on boats we have not ridden on before--for example I have ridden on a Venture 26 and 23 to give me an example of how the other boats handle.

Plus staging for other adventures this great time in the Pan handle. Stop and spend a day at "Camp Thataway" on the way down--not sure if going by boat or RV--because of my back--but guests are always welcome "on the Bayou in Pensacola--Perdido Bay"
 
Thanks for the responses. I will start making travel plans. We love vacationing in the Florida Panhandle and look forward to meeting the C-Brat community.

We look forward to meeting you , Scott and Barbara ! Looking forward to another fun event . We have confirmed the Rivercrest venue as well as the rooms and slips for Water Street Hotel . New owners are excited to have the gang there . Get the rooms early as they will fill . I have other spots as well , like the neat little cabins near Rivercrest , so feel free to ask !

Hi all!
We'll be there on Cat 'O Mine, our floating RV.
Eileen got the AC down to 61 degrees in July at NAS PNS, maybe she can beat that.

Marc, you were right, it was north of $5000 to get the 2006 E Z Loader up to my standards.

I believe the App Seafood Festival is the next weekend, for those Retired Brats with more time than money.
Great seafood anytime!

Gulf Coast Gathering has become a tradition that we look forward to each year. Brenda and I enjoy the old salty gulf coast and will be cruising in from Valparaiso, FL. imposing on Dave and Marlene Mason.

I am on the Great Loop and will be on the Gulf coast around that time and will try to make this event. It would be fun to meet everyone and talk "boats"!
 
I'm the new guy from Mt Dora who had the wind shields cut out, I'll see y'all there got my room yesterday. Hopefuly all my boat modifications will be finished, look forward to meeting new friends. Cliff & Debi

We are confirmed at Rivercrest,and will do sunday breakfast at Water Street Hotel around the pool .
I see we have a good showing of new attendees, looking forward to meeting all of you .
There are a couple neat cabins available near Rivercrest, they are reasonable and have interweb and nice facilities . Let me know if anyone is interested and Ill check availability. The owners name is Dolores Roux and is super accomodating .
We will have a nce mix of C Dorys, Cape Cruisers and Tugs this year it appears .
We are super busy at Wefings , but Ill try to check this thread as much as I can . Feel free to e mail me or PM with questions .
