1984 C-Dory 27' Longhouse diesel

Too cool. its like a cruiser and an angler had a baby that was taller than the parents. would love to see more pics of the restoration and interior.
 
Looks as if someone may make a profit, depending on how much he/she paid chrismorris for it and how much was put into it. Glad it was "saved"!

It's not a longhouse like my 27. A long house has a head and closet behind the table and sink. It states a head but I don't see one so its most likely in the v-berth. That was on of the layouts made at that time.

Profit is good but after moving it to Washington and registration here plus that work he has already done I doubt there is much. Pulling and fixing the tank was not cheap or easy.

If you are looking for a tuna, halibut boat then this is it.
 
Thanks Tom, I learn something every day. Longhouse? It was advertised as such but then, you've got one and have to know better. You're right about the head too, the ad says "with marine head under port side cushion". So it obviously doesn't have the separate one as you have.

Anyone know how many of the 27s were made and of what variety?

On further inspection, the second image in the original Brat listing shows this boat as a "long house" and yours as an 'X' long house. Now we've both learned something!! :wink:

I forgot about the short cab model. Will its good to have a extra long cabin.

Dave, does that boat still have that really old steering wheel?

Looking at the drawings of the long house I see that its laid out dfferenet then my boat. The storage and the fuel tanks are switched.
