Hi - I think all of us would like some info on the motor as in model year, model number, (you posted the hours already), compression test, and if you have any service records. We all want a newer motor but these older Johnsons have a good reputation depending on how they are maintained. The 1998 model year was the top of the heap. Many of these have gone to pre-mix, is yours still injecting?
Any info on the trailer as in age of tires, last re-build of the hubs and if there are brakes?
Thanks for the reply post.

Absolutely!

-The motor is Model E70TLEDA, which is a 1996 70 HP

-Not sure if the mechanic compression tested, but he guessed it had less than 100 hours on it.

-If a very serious potential buyer, I would give you the mechanic's contact info and he would be happy to verify that the motor is in excellent shape

-No previous service records, as the motor has such low hours

-Oil injected

-No trailer brakes

-Wheel bearings just greased

-2 brand new tires and spare is in good shape

Feel free to contact me or reply with any further questions. My grandpa owned this boat for less than a year and purchased it from the original owner. Very lit
tle use.

I stopped and looked at this boat a few days ago on my way to Seattle, it is in amazing condition. It could pass as new. It's like it's been stored in a museum since it was made.

Someone asked about whether you step down into the cabin, yes. And the deck seems to have a rise to it also which has you standing higher than a standard cdory deck.

There is also a bimini with cover for it that appears to be in great shape. The tires are new. Toland must have made side window screens standard for this model. The interior is amazingly clean.

Of you're on the fence about this boat, make the trip. If the 2 stroke worries you, a repower wouldn't be hard or all tt costly. I'm thinking a nice honda 75 hp efi would be perfect.

I'm a fishermen, so I would have to mount done riggers and pole holders etc. I couldn't do it to this one.

It's a time capsule.

I'm actually in Montana as I write this on my phone. If someone wants me to stop, or possibly even deliver it (depending where you are) feel free to call me
