There are plenty of options for tanks. Here are two

A lot of the tank vendors sell the same tanks but the prices can vary a lot.
The factory tank that goes under the aft dinette seat does have a unique shape to match the hull in that area (at least on the '08 CD22 I have). The bottom and the outboard side are sloped.

I’d call the factory and inquire where they get theirs. . Worth a shot.

I have the 20 gallon tank removed from my '08 22. It fits in the compartment under the aft dinette seat. I removed it pretty much as soon as I got the boat because that area was more valuable as storage than as a water tank for our use case. We managed with 2.5 and 5 gal portable water containers (depending on trip length) and it never was an issue. In a 22, it's not like you put to sea for long periods.

After having the boat for about 13 years, I am finally getting around to putting a 10gal tank in the bow locker area. When it is done, I'll post the details of the installation.
