We were planning on doing the halibut thing there too, so maybe we could hook up for that. And definitly end of july probably all through august I'll head out there almost every weekend. So I will see you there (roger) I'm sure. I did last year. It seems like the fishing was a little slow early last year. Have you fished it that early before?

But earlier will proabably be better for kings. As far as the canal goes I usually hit the area around the great bend/ dewatto as we have a cabin there in tahuya, so for the short time it's open we will probably head there, others would be welcome to come by for some shrimp on the barbie, or a couple cold ones. We have a nice fire pit, and it's right on the water, but we'll have to see what days it will be open, it's getting shorter every year. I would also like to try shrimping closer to home sometime . And bellingham sounds like it would be fun, will have to try to make that one too.
Summer's filling up quick

Ruth, maybe breakfast in Old Town, or bus to Fairhaven? Pat's day cruise ideas sound perfect. And maybe Chuckanut Bay.

I assume somebody has or shortly will be in touch with Lopez for the May deal. Who has done that in the past?
