Jay, as far as I am concerned both the buyer and I got a very good deal on "Playin' Hooky". I have just purchased a sweet 2005 SeaSport Explorer ("Irish Fiddler") that is now on the way up from Coeur D Alene Idaho and needed to find a new home for our c-dory quickly, which we were able to do by pricing and advertising the c-dory right. You know that old saying about the two happiest days for a boat owner...this coming week I get two happy days! Safe Passage,

Good luck on your new boat and on the quick sale of your C-Dory. I have a few friends with SeaSport boats and they love them, one lives there in Girdwood. Fact is I almost purchased one down in Seward before finally deciding that a 22ft C-dory was all I could afford to buy and operate without stretching the wallet too much. An upgrade is in the future for use but a couple more years down the road. I’ll be waving as you cut through those choppy 3 to 4 footers, I’m sure you’ll enjoy that deep V.
