My name is Paul. I’m admiring your boat. Very nice! Are those pictures current? I didn’t see if it had a bow thruster, but with twins probably not needed. Has there been a compression test on the older motor? Any more information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Paul
The action pictures are through the years of ownership, but the interior photos are very current. No bow thruster, boat handles well with two engine maneuvering. The Port Engine has not had a compression test. The boat trailer brake overhaul was completed recently. The boat is kept inside my pole barn when not in use. It’s been all over Puget Sound, into the Canadian Gulf Islands, and in 2019 we trailered the boat to Lewiston ID and spent 8 days cruising the Snake and Columbia Rivers, pulling out at Portland OR. V-berth has a covered mattress cover that is extremely comfortable. It was an incredible trip.

I’m third owner. Ironically when the boat was originally outfitted for first buyer, it was done right here on Whidbey Island. First owner took it to Oregon, sold to a doctor in Portland and i bought it from him in 2015. I brought it full circle back to Whidbey Island.
I will be discussing a compression test for the port engine with a retired technician whom I used before on engine services. I’ll let you know what he says.

Just curious why these boats in the north west come with Hondas instead of Yamahas.

No idea, but Honda has had a great reputation in this region for small engines. However, I am selling this boat because I bought a new NorthRiver 2700SXL and it comes with twin Yamaha 250’s.
