Hello Fellow C-Brats,

It’s been a long while since I have been around these parts. It has been a very, very busy few years.

So busy, in fact that I have decided to sell my one-of-a-kind TomCat. :(

You can learn more about it at http://TomCatforSale.com but here are some highlights:
  • 2 Honda 150HP Outboards with ~60 hours on them (I think – I am checking to be sure).

Custom Expanded Helm (You gotta check this out at the web site above. It really tuned out great!)

Complete Networked High-End Garmin Marine Electronics Package, including

    • GPSMAP 7215 Chartplotter

Full GHP 10 AutoPilot with GHC Helm Display and Remote Control

      2 GMI 10 Marine Displays

      GMR 18 HD Marine Radar

VHF 300 Radio with two GHS Full-Function Mics and Active Speaker

      AIS 600 Class B Transceiver

GXM Weather and XM Radio Satellite Receiver

      GDS 22 Digital Remote Sounder

      Garmin NMEA2000 Backbone

      2 GFS 10 Fuel Sensors

BlueChart G2 East Coast Mid-Atlantic Chesapeake Bay Charts
Airmar PB 200 Ultrasonic Weather Station

    Airmar P79 Transducer

Custom Blue Sea A/C D/C Panel w/ RCBO/ELCI Main and AC and DC Multimeters

Customized Tanner Stainless Arch (wait till you see everything on that arch!)

Coleman Polar Mach Air Conditioner (with heating element) 13.5 BTU (white)

    Custom Sunbrella Window Covers

Sunbrella Bimini and cover (matches window and seat covers).

Four Video Cameras (fore, aft, port & starboard)

Fusion Audio iPod-Ready AM/FM/VHF/Weather Band Receiver with two remote controls (also plays XM Radio via the Garmin Weather/XM service)

    Perko Nav and All-Round Lights

    And a whole bunch more!
AND… if the boat sells as a result of this C-Brats Ad, I’ll put $500 in the C-Brats Tip Jar. :teeth

Please check it out at http://TomCatforSale.com. You can email me at: info@tomcatforsale.com.

Thanks,

Mike...

OMG!
Absolutely stunning.
That is some of the cleanest work I have ever seen.
Wish I had a bunch of cash!
Good luck,

Hi Ray,

Phil Jones, the guy who did that fiberglass work is truly amazing. He just loves working with fiberglass, and he treats every project like he was working on his own boat.

I was so worried about this part of the project, and when I saw the final product, I was like a 5 year-old at Christmas. I am sure I embarrassed myself. :)

And when it came time to cut the holes on that helm, I didn't want to be there. I was so stressed out about that part of the project. But Phil said, "Don't worry about it. If it gets screwed up, I will just fix it good as new."

:)

That is truly an amazing boat. Sorry you weren't able to use it more. Best of luck with your sale. The web-site is well done too.

Wow! Does it come with a wiring diagram?

Nicest TC255 I've seen yet, only thing missing is a genset for the AC underway. Sorry I even mentioned it!

Good luck with the sale!

Charlie

Definitely the best C Dory done! Fantistic work--I won't let Marie see these photos (She heckles me every day about selling the Tom Cat!).

Good luck with the sale--someone is gong to get a really great boat!

Hello to all,

So my taxes came back higher than I expected so I have decided to drop the price of this very unique TomCat to $134.5k.

Gotta feed the taxes-monster. :(

Hello fellow C-Brats,

I have decided to lower the price of this one-of-a-kind TomCat to $114,500 -- but only until November 1, 2014.

After that, the price will be $125,000.

And on April 1 of next year, the price goes back to $135,000.

This is one unique boat. If you want her, now's the time to come and get her. :)

You can check out all of the unique boat's coolness at http://tomcatforsale.com and I can be reached at info@tomcatforsale.com

Hi Mike!
How about an even trade, and you could START ALL OVER FROM SCRATCH on a 2010 255 with 173 hours. Wouldn't that be exciting and expensive, especially the latter?
Cheers!
John

Hello to the c-brats!

You know how they say that the two happiest days in a boaters life is the day he buys his boat and the day he sells it.

Well, it turns out that is not true.

I have sold the TomCat and it makes me so very sad. :(

But I really do appreciate all the help and patience you all provided back with I was hanging around these parts.

Who knows, maybe I will be back here again someday -- talking about my next crazy project boat....
