There has been some interest in another thread in creating a C-Brat calendar for the new year. It's a bit late to be starting in on this project, but if I can get pictures from fellow Brats I can get a calendar done pretty quickly. The finished product will be available for sale and I think it will cost around $20.

If you are interested in submitting pictures, please email me high resolution (at least 1600x1200, preferably the original jpg from your camera) at samlandsman at gmail dot com as soon as possible. I may make minor adjustments to photos that are submitted, like color corrections and cropping, but I will ask permission before making any major changes. I will not make any money from the calendar. Also please include the name of the photographer and their C-Brat username as well as the location of the photo.

Great Idea! I would definitely like one. This is one of my favorite shots of my 16 cruiser I would submit for your consideration.

Do you have a high resolution version of the picture (preferably the one you downloaded off your camera)? If so, please email it to me at samlandsman at gmail dot com.

Please include the location of the photo, boat owners name, and photographers name.

On some of the other boards I frequent they just put them out as high res pdf's for download. That would reduce the printing cost to zero and we could just take the pdf to Kinkos and have it printed on our dime. no shipping costs either. Just trowing it out there.
 
So far I've gotten quite a few photos sent to me but it would be great to get any more than people want to share. Some of the pictures I've received have been highly compressed. Just as a reminder, please email high resolution photos. The original files from most digital cameras are ideal.

Jody, I'll see if it's possible to get PDF's of everything. I'm only creating image files that are then uploaded onto the printers website and placed in the calendar. So I don't actually create the entire calendar on my computer, if that makes any sense. When I finalize everything I'll get back to you. And I'm happy to give the final images (which have the C-Brat logo and info about the picture) to you if you want to make up the calendar locally yourself, as long as that's okay with all the photographers.

Anyway, keep the photos coming. I think I'll have the whole thing done by early to mid week.

First, thank you to everyone who submitted pictures. I couldn't have put together the calendar as quickly as I did without your help. I'm just sorry that I can't include more pictures!

Thank you again to everyone who submitted pictures. I feel badly not including pictures from everyone who sent some to me (limited space) and not waiting for everyone potentially interested to submit pictures (limited time), but I think it is a good first effort at a C-Brat calendar.

A few people ordered early. Not to worry, there were only a few small changes. The location of the December picture of Susan E was clarified (Lake Washington, Seattle, WA) and Barry Rietz, who took the photo for November, had his user name (Barry Rietz) replaced by his boat name (CLOVER).

Anyway, if you choose to purchase the calendar, enjoy! Hopefully next year we can get started sooner.

Very cool! I've ordered this and the Lake Powell calendar mentioned above and now I am all set for 2011. Gotta :love this site!
