22' Angler Cabin Layout

Did the 22' Angler cabin ever include a stove, sink and small dinette? Would the cabin still have been 4'4" in size with the above items installed?

My 87 has an original double seated dinette. No sink or stove. I mounted a small microwave behind the pilot seat (just fits). There is a picture of the dinette in my interior stuff sub. Sometime shortly after that I think they did away with the dinette.

Hi Folks,

I built galley in a box which fits behind the helm on my 22' Angler.

It has a single burner alcohol stove toward the back and a sink toward the front. A door drops down on the front to hold "silverware", lighters, and hot pads. There is storage for plates and pots and pans under the stove. The sink drains into a used soap container. (I think it will be illegal to dump gray water in the no dumping zones in the near future.)

The back of the helm seat folds flat and I put a cutting board on it.

Future project is to add a pump for water. Now use a gallon jug.

Will try and get pictures soon. (I have been saying that for a year now.)

I added a gally to my 93 Angler (No Solid Bulkhead) that had a 30 gallon water tank below and counter space for a stove. I was not happy with my lack of cabinet making skills and removed it when I thought I was going to sell the boat. I have since decided to keep the boat (new repower) and I plan on putting the gally back in. This time I am going to hire a cabinetmaker to do the work.

Mike,

I think your galley looks great. Hiring a carpenter takes gas money. You will look at the galley and feel satisfaction because you did it your self. That is the way I feel.

I hear where your comming from, and I did feel that way as long as I was on the boat alone but I felt a little ashamed about the ill fitting trim work. It was quit functional and served the purpose I intended.

But next time I will still be proud to say...I paid big bucks and got it done to suit me...just the same.
