Pat's health forces sale

Pat and Fred -
So sorry to hear about Pat's health problems and that you will be selling your boat. We have wonderful memories of cruising with you folks -- and, although we can't be there with you in person for your last cruise on the Erie, we'll sure be with you in spirit -- you are two great folks and we think the world of you both. Stay in touch with this group -- you two are a model for so many of us. Good luck!

Dear Fred and Pat:

We remember meeting up with you on the Canal near Medina a couple of years back! Let us know your itinerary and schedule. We MAY be able to meet up with you for PART of your cruise. (We have a cottage on L. Ontario adjacent to Golden Hill SP. We regularly put into the Canal at Widewaters Marina east of Lockport.)

Fond memories, Wayne

Hi Wayne,

We will be in Fairport July 21-22 for sure. then we plan to call into Rochester and explore their fair city. They tell me that the water front is really improved. Then we head west toward Tonawanda. Feel free to call us on our cell phone 717-870-8666

Bill and El,

You two are sure a big part of the reason for our C-Dory. You guys have inspired many of us to use a C-Dory.We have had just as much fun on the dory than our larger boats.

It looks like we can still travel in our RoadTrek next winter and we may even buy a sports car-just for fun.

Our C-Dory did not get near the miles and use i had hoped, but perhaps some one can buy it and really use it. We have not advertised it anyplace except this site in the hopes it goes to a good home.

Dear Fred and Pat,

We're sorry to hear about Pat's health and C-Trek's sale. we wish we could have spent more time cruising with you nice folks, and invite you to any of our NE gatherings anytime. We'll keep you posted of our get togethers and keep you in our prayers and thoughts. Best luck to both of you (and Mr. Grey). We'll remember our Erie cruise with you always!

Fred, Pat and Mr. Grey,

Hey, just because the boat is being sold does not excuse you three from certain duties: attending all future Chesapeake gatherings; playing spoons on all appropriate songs; and continuing to offer valuable advice on this site.

Give Pat our best from all here at Lankford.

Tom
