Does anyone know the freeboard of the 25? Draft is listed as 7 inches so to get death I need freeboard. Its for the bank

Thanks

From the water line:

~30" to the gunwale; add another ~10" for the safety rail.

If you need cockpit to gunwale too, let me know.

Is that freeboard or depth?

AK USA is going to put me in an early grave!

Thanks,

If you are going to document the boat, I think I still have the calculations I did for the documentation of Frequent Sea. For documentation it is different than freeboard...

Jay,

You must have had a bad case of 3 footitis. When will the launch the new one?

If I still have my health after all this bank stress the 25 footy Triple J should
splash in PWS early August.

It's freeboard. From the water line (roughly) to the cockpit gunwale. The 25's also have a safety rail around the cockpit since it's raised due to the fuel tanks, but you probably know that. I measured from the painted gel coat line, since that's roughly the water line, depending on how heavy we are running.

I used the Simplified Measurement to get my boat documented. Length = 25.4', Breadth = 8.5', Depth = 3.5'. Depth is defined as:

DEPTH (D) is the vertical distance taken at or near amidships from a line drawn horizontally through
the uppermost edges of the skin (outside planking or plating) at the sides of the hull (excluding the
cap railo, trunks, cabins and deckhouses, and deck caps) to the outboard face of the bottom skin of
the hull, excluding the keel.
