Well, after two plus years I pulled the tube of 4200 out of the freezer. After sticking a nail in the solid stuff, it flowed like toothpaste. Thanks for this money saving suggestion.
Sure....Marie has assigned one door shelf in our garage freezer to my sealants. Put aluminum foil over the end, and stick them in the freezer. They warm up rapidly enough, and you can use the entire tube without loss or mess.
While I wouldn't put it in the freezer in fear of it freezing, putting paint in the fridge will make it last a really long time too. I have some POR 15 top coat that is still good after a couple years of sitting in my beer fridge right now. I'm not sure a little fridge time wouldn't do bottom paint good.
