So who is going to be number 500? Should be someone with a way cool name. Something simple like C-500????

Whoever you are, welcome to the group. Talk to you soon.

Dusty, by all means have your daughter and son-in-law sign in! I met both of them yesterday at EQ just after they placed the order with Les for the new 22'. I encouraged them to sign on to C-Brats then..........of course since they've met me now, they probably won't sign up! :crook

Means they've got good taste, eh? The 22 is a great boat for what they like to do -- just took some convincing! They did a lot of looking, like we all do -- and bingo.

Oops!

Just missed 500 - so no prize, huh? I should have logged in a little earlier. Besides, 501 was a little easier, no pressure....

We ordered our 22 Cruiser a little while ago from EQ and have been going crazy waiting for it to come! Last we checked it was in the finishing shop, then it will need outfitting by EQ. We're hoping for 7/21, which means we'll miss Blakely this year. I can hope it will be early, but EQ sure has been busy lately!....

We're looking forward to joining the Brats -

Hi, Mac and Linda. I'm happy for you. A new boat means great big excitement. And in your case, anticipation.
If you miss the Blakely gig, there'll be many others.
Glad you signed on.

Hi Guys,
I am new to this forum, but not to the C-Dory. I took possesion of mine in mid June 1981,on the water at Desmoines Marina. They didn't even have a trailer for them yet. It is hull # 10. When I finally got the trailer a month later it wasn't set up right for a flat bottom boat,so I had to rework it to make the boat ride right..

I like my boat as much today as the day I bought it.. The black streak was fading badly so I sent off to Boats US and got some stuff that (along with a lot of elbow grease) brought it back to brand new,the other day. It looks nearly as good as the day I bought it and I store it outside for 23 years without a cover.

Everytime I go out I see you guys,in south Sound,North Sound, Columbia River. When I visited my brother in Ninilchick Alaska,I saw you guys there and at Homer Alaska.

I am glad to see that there are so many happy owners. I just by chance ran across this website tonight.

Thanks for introducing yourself, Herb. Hey, a bunch of us c-dory owners are meeting up at Blakely Island this weekend. Come on over and say hello if you get the chance. You can read more about it on the Blakely Island thread. I'll bet you've got some stories to tell, heck, I think you've owned one longer than any of us.

Larry, I think you're right. Heretofore I've strutted around like a proud peacock, thinking I thought of it first. Bummer, man, I just got bumped.

Herb, I'm glad you're here. Join us if you can this weekend, and if not, hop aboard any other gig we conceive. I live near Renton, as does Jeff and Sugar Lips Diane, and I launch fairly often at Coulon.

Thanks for the invitation, but at the present time I am tied up taking care of my wife, she is a cancer patient, and it is a full time job when she is not feeling good.

I hope to get in the water next month to do some salmon fishing.
