Last Sunday while preparing to launch our boat a retired couple came over to admire our C-Dory.
Not all that unusual of an event----I enjoy talking about our C-Dory to those that come over to check out our boats.
While walking back to the boat after parking the truck, I noticed the couple sitting at a pavilion near the boat launch still admiring our C-Dory, so I extended an invitation for a short ride around the bay.
I knew they would enjoy a ride.
Gene---said you don't have to ask me twice. They both enjoyed the short cruise and his wife even got behind the helm for a little taste--I figured I would help her catch the bug.
Well.....the surprise came in the mail today. They sent us a $50 gift card to a local Seafood restaurant along with a nice thank you card.
Wow---we were pleasantly surprised.
