a return to the fold

Some of you may remember me..tom mchugh...chesapeake...22 cruiser owner.
I left the c dory fold a few years ago and "moved up" to a larger boat..no need to name the brand...and I learned, the hard way, the world of corporate boating...the expenses, the repairs, the marina costs, etc...so I sold the albatross and am now looking for a used 22 cruiser...The 22 was possible the best of the eight boats i have owned. Sometimes the brain plays tricks on you...and stupidity triumphs over reason...i'm older, wiser, and poorer..but hope to find a boat.

I wasn't here when you bought your first 22, but when I was boat shopping/considering, I read quite a few of your posts here on the forum from when you were boat shopping/considering, and from when you ordered your new 22. Good reads.

Fun to hear you are back :beer

Patty here. So good to hear you're back, Tom. We were wondering about you not too long ago so did some web surfing and came across lots of good stuff about you and your music. Watched an interview you did and it took our memories back to the gathering in 2005. Hope you find the boat you're looking for.

I'll have to see what's on The Mainstay's calendar in March...

Welcome back Tom - we have missed you. And, like Pat & Patty, have fond memories of shared times and good music. Great you have been able to make the return 'trip' - many can't admit a 'misjudgment.' You're back home and we welcome you

Welcome back Tom. Missed you and your music, and your generous hospitality at the Chesapeake gathering back a few years.
Good wishes on your search for a 22.
By the way, you may have left the C-Dory fold, but not the Brat fold.

Hi Tom! Welcome back! C'mon down to the Northern Neck and bring the guitar too! Well help you find a boat! I used to have a bunch, now only one (c-dory) but several others!

Tom, I will start practicing some tunes from Chesapeake Scenes on my ocarina, maybe we can do a duet! Hope to get back there in the next year or two!

Well Hey Tom! Byrdman here....way out here on Camano Island, WA now. Enjoyed our times together on the NE corner at gatherings and such....now, going to spend a year or two out here on the NW corner. Great to see you back.

Tom-I told my family about your kazoo band in an off-hand comment. Lo and behold, they gave me one for Christmas! I do love it. Thanks. MartyP
