Anita Marie Moving On Up!

Larry, Nomad is the color. Thanks fo all the nice words from everyone. Robbin is pretty persuasive when she puts her mind to it. I am sad about letting go of the Anita Marie but things have a way of working out.

Fred

Fred and Robbin, Congratulations! Oh, how I love the 25. I am not stopping at the 22, I am jumping right to the 25. :smilep Someday. Robbi

So thats what a nomad looks like. Very nice. When do you take delivery, what options are you getting, and the big question, one motor or two?
Congratulations :thup and good luck with the sell of Anita Marie I

boy, that sure is a lot nicer than the old Angler. Now you have to get all moved in again. congratulations, that long period of silence there, I thought you where buying a Bayliner there for a moment

Fred,

Pat, Patti, Lyle and Shelly and I were on "your" new boat today. Measuring, calculating, thinking, and sorry about the footprints on the windows. But SOOOOO much room to run about in there.

Fred and Robbin -

You guys are just too cool. We are very happy for you.

You will really like the new boat for the type of use you both enjoy the most. Like I have pointed out before, there are very real advantages to the CD 22, but there are also many advantages of the CD 25 that are just not possible with the 22. It is amazing how much bigger those 10 extra inches of width make the boat. Amazing. I really miss some of the TyBoo22, but now that our family is growing, there is no other boat we would want but the TyBoo25.

Congrats!

And by the way, Fred. I split this topic off from your original ad posting, because it was taking over. I was afraid that by the time you read through all the posts, you might end up buying the Anita Marie22 yourself, or even more likely, Robbin would buy it for your Christmas present.

If you prefer to have the thread restored to the typical C-Brat state, you'll have to ask Da Nerd to do it, because I have no idea how. Durn lucky to get this far.

Now don't be bugging Les. You know how he likes to talk, and the more time he spends doing that, the less time he has for your boat. (That's the real reason Dusty only spends five minutes a day up there. He always has a new boat in the works.)

Yeah, David Lyle, Shelly get your grubby feet off the boat, only kidding  . David I know your going to make something to level off the storage under the sink. What will it cost me for you to make one extra?

Fred

What I am planning is about the same as I did on the 22. Pictures are in my album. But I think you saw what I did. I am going to have C-Dory cut the kick plate area and hinge it when they construct the cabinets (Pats boat also). I did this in place on the 22, but I could have slipped and screwed up the front with the skillsaw doing it. Let me see how everything goes with mine and Pats and then I can tell you more.

Unless you are just talking about a flat floor built to the edge of the bottom of the cabinet door opening. But that loses a lot a good space under. I stored pots andn pans, etc under mine. But the lower access door needs to be added to get things in and out.

I'm excited with all these new 25's going to new homes. What's the timeframe for y'all? It sounds like Fred & Robbin are getting theirs first, who's next, Pat, David, Jim? Anybody else?

Freds is sitting on Les's lot and needs everything. It is just as it was delivered from the factory as of yesterday. Jims is in the works and I believe was getting the windows put in last week. Mine is scheduled to go into the molds on Mar 23. Pats follows mine by a couple of weeks I think.

We understand ours goes into the mold on April 15th, and it is 4-6 weeks after that to delivery, so somewhere between May 15 and June 1 - we are hoping for the shorter period, since we are not having C-Dory to the electronics or camperback...then to Les for the electronics, and Canvas Riggers for the camperback...I am just hoping we are all ready to go by Desolation Sound time...we will not let the lack of electronics or camperback deter us however - have a handheld mapping GPS and a portable VHF radio, should be good enough for Blakely and other C-Brat events. We will just play it by ear, we shall see. Definitely need a ride for Cathlamet and Warrenton now though...
