Another Computer Glitch !!!

I received a private message from one of our members having a problem seeing his photos in his album which I also experience myself.

The problem is that of viewing and posting photos.

I can view photos in albums using Safari and post them on threads without problems, but can't add new photos to my album using that same Safari.

However, the problem is reversed using FireFox. On this browser, I can add photos, but not see them!!!

Yeah, pretty strange, all right! :shock:

It may have something to do with using an IMac computer, or the 10.4 operating system, etc.

Do any of you have any ideas? :?:

Joe,

The Safari issue has been around for quite a while, but I have not heard of anyone not being able to view a photo with FireWeasel. I will go to my laptop and see if that is the case for me as well.

On Edit: I just fired up Firefox 3.0.8, and I can see photos. Is there a specific album that you were looking at. My laptop is an older G4 Powerbook, and it is running Tiger (10.4).
 
Hello Joe,

Have you run software update? I'm running OS 10.5.8 with Firefox 3.5.2 and all is good. I haven't tried Safari lately. Maybe try running software update?

I am current on upgrades with my iMac (Leopard), and Safari behaves the same way it does on the laptop. I have not pulled Firefox down, but can do so if needed.

I think this is an application issue in the site, not the browser.

I've just checked, and my software software for the OS is updated according to Apple.

I also have updated from FireFox 3.0.5 dmg to 3.5.2 dmg, and the same problem persists, though I don't have it anywhere else on the internet, so Steve is probably right, it's an application issue with this site, not the browsers.
