Another floor question

I recently purchased a 2006 22 Cruiser which has a removable fiberglass floor that appears to match the boat but it leaves me scratching my head. It's in two halves but instead of mirror images they are the same from the same mold. Is this normal?

No, not at all!

They should be mirror images right to left, or port to starboard, really.

Who did you buy the boat from? Could they have switched one of the parts with another boat during or after transport? Does someone else have a "pair of two left footed shoes"?

This is WIERD! You deserve a new second side of the floor and an apology from someone, somewhere.

Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

So, if I understand you correctly, they can not be installed in the boat
in any useful manner? What did the previous owner do with them?

Are you sure one can't be rotated and have it fit? I only just removed
mine at the end of the season, but I didn't pay much attention to
them.

I bought the boat from Central Valley Marine in Cambell Ca. It was a trade in and I was glad to get it at a time when 22 cruisers were selling as fast as I could google them. It was a 'trade in' but I was able to communicate with the original owner. No complaints about the boat other than some bad DYS electronic installs.

They can be installed and are not without use but one end of one half is supported at the bow end and the other at the stern end. The odd one creaks when I walk on it because it's not supported correctly..or how I think it should be. I'll write the original owner and see if he was aware that he got two of the same "shoe" but I don't know what can be done other than ordering a new one from the facDory. Maybe they'll give me break.

Thanks for the input..atleast I know my dyslexia isn't the cause of the problem.
