Any 25's on San Juan Island right now????

Wondering if there are any 25's on San Juan right now that my wife and I could just have a quick look at?

We're on San Juan Island another week. Been here about 5 weeks.

We've been in a 22, C-Sharp and like it a lot but want to get our heads in a 25. We have grandkids and the 22 would be too small. Or we leave them on the dock, which may be the best solution...haha.

Just curious and no dealers have one near here. Marty has a 22, a 23 Venture Sport and Tomcat. We will stop by Master Marine next week just to look.

We're leaning 22 but sure would like to feel the difference.

Kirk, I hope you can find a 25 to poke around on. The 22 and 25 are very different boats. Its only a 3 foot difference but you will get more amenities and space.

I had a 19 foot C Dory and when I moved up to the 25 it was a HUGE increase.

The 22s are great and are the bread and butter of the lineup. It just depends what you're looking for. With grandkids you may wanna have the head onboard vs the portapotty.
 
The C-Dory has two advantages: first the enclosed head, second, more room. It has one disadvantage: heavier, more difficult to launch.

The enclosed head was the one thing Judy was set on. We weren't going back to the porti potty under the bunk; did that, didn't want to do it again. More room is always nice.

The 25 really needs a truck to pull it, which we finally got (F250). And we always launch next to a pier.

So we never considered a 22. And only regretted it when we back down the launch ramp.

Yeah, I could see the 25 being harder to launch. We were out on a 22 a couple times in the San Juans recently. Really nice but just to small for us. We’d like to have to grandkids out and would love to be able to do over nighters in comfort.

Wish we could get out on a 25. Or the 26, really like it as well except for the non self draining cockpit. That’s another discussion.

Was hoping to get on a 23 and. ATomCat today at Master NMarine but both were sold already.

Seeing a C-Dory in nearly impossible, having a sea trial even worse. How do you buy a boat without a sea trial? I guess lots of people just do it anyway.
