Any C-brats on Lopez Island?

We have a place (not waterfront) on Lopez Island Washington. Been looking for a CD16 cruiser, but realizing that actually getting it in the water is not easy. Moorage is not available at any marina on the island ( just a waiting list that costs $100 a year and is years long), hoist into Fishermen's Bay is $125 so not a day trip thing. Has anyone used the county dock at McKay Harbor? It looks possible but would need to watch the tide or get stuck. Any info on life with a trailerable boat on Lopez would be appreciated.
 
Hi. I am on Lopez and have a 16 angler. I used to use Mackaye dock and ramp all the time. Works at mid tide level and higher. Currently have a spot at the galley dock. Hunter bay dock and ramp is good to. Odlin is not that good
 
Thanks! Just what i want to know. Is the Galley dock at the Islander resort or does the galley restaurant have a dock? What do they charge?
 
I looked at the google satellite and damned if there's not a dock at the Galley! I had no idea. But I see on their website a photo of a sign that says “moorage for patrons.” Did you work a deal?
