Any Michigan C-Brats hitting the water this weekend?

We are planning a Sunday on the water here and are looking for some locals to join us. Anywhere from St. Clair River, Lake St. Clair, or Detroit River is good for us.

I am afraid I will have to pass. I just returned home tonight after spending the last two days on Lake St. Clair and the St. Clair River. This morning when going out to my fishing spot, I did cross wakes with a 22 C-Dory with twin Mercs. A very nice boat but no name. Have a great time on Sunday.

Best regards,
Rollie/C-Batical

Oh man, Saginaw Bay is nothing but beaches.. Problem is you can't reach em because of the mile of shallows extending out from the shore - and the shore line is all private property, or wild life preserve, etc... What you can do is raft up a 100 boats in the shallows and get drunk, play loud music, etc. but at my age that has lost the sparkle...
It is a strange bay... Wildly beautiful and not a darn thing to do on the bay... There are two islands in the middle of the bay, and they are private property...
I am berthed up the Saginaw river about 3/4 of a mile... I was out on the bay this morning, and going back for an evening cruise... Lake Huron was a mirror this morning... The marina is packed, last big 3 day holiday of the summer and we are having almost the only summer weather we have had this year, calm winds, temp in the 80's, and sunshine...

We will be around lower St Clair river all week. Most of the time at Fawn -land. If anybody wants to stop by please do so. Enter northeast channel

Found a nice beach to anchor near about 1mile north of the Blue Water bridge in Lake Huron. Been here for an hour, heading south on the St. Clair river soon.
