Here I am with the 2013 Astoria Regatta Court. Left to right is Princess Michala, Princess Jamie, me, Princess Madison, and 2012 Queen Emily. Not able to be there that day was Princess Kim.

Princess Jamie, of course, is my little princess!

Wow Mike, You must be proud, And with good reason. Congratulations to you for being a great Dad, and to Jamie. She will have a good time, meet some new challenges and show off her maturity. Hope you all have a wonderful time.

Looks like lots of fun for all, and it has a cool history.

Good to see this back. Would it be unreasonable to expect to be able to trailer in to Astoria and stay on the water in the boat over this weekend? Marina or any park docks? Not really interested in fishing, just cruising and watching some of the activities.

With the Buoy 10 salmon opening August 1 the local marinas are generally full for the month. But it would not hurt to call (Warrenton 503- 861-3822; Astoria 503-325-8279). Regatta Week is August 8-14 and there will be a few extra boats in town for that as well. Warrenton usually has a few slips unfilled during the season, but it seems to me they gouge the weekly guys pretty good. But by all means, call if you're wanting to be here.

You can always anchor out in the Marad Basin upriver if everything else is full. Relatively protected, and a short shot to town. Tie up at Pier 39 for a snack or a meal at the Rogue.
