It took me a while BUT I finally named my baby. I was going back and forth for the past month and half with about 10 different names and word combos! I finally ended up deciding on one and realized during the process that less is more; For a while I was trying to give the boat a complex and cerebral moniker. Then I ended up just going with my gut instinct.
The shop did a great job on the name with a compass image to the left of the name and a wave underneath. They also tweaked the C Dory logo a bit and added a star and "25 Cruiser" under that. The old C Dory logos were really faded and peeling off in spots. I thought everything came together nicely.
PS: Take a look at my slip and the condition of the dock. It's literally falling apart! I can't wait til next spring. I already reserved my slip at a first class facility in the Boston. The owners of my current marina are a very nice , older married couple but they can't afford to keep up with the upgrades.
