There have been several solar events that might result in auroral displays the next few nights - those in the north might want to eye the northern sky.

WOW - the pictures on tv news of the aurora displays have been marvelous - they might continue for several more days.
We have made several winter trips north, to the auroral zone, to watch the displays and they can be incredible. Rented a cabin at Churchill, Manitoba one January and what a marvelous show.
So, if you live or are traveling far enough north, keep your eye to the sky. The full moon is a bit of a detriment now, but very early morning, after moonset, can be a good time.

could not see from our house, but will look again tonight.
