ballpark price for C-Dory 22' cruiser

I'm wanting very much to become a C-Dory owner. But . . . .

I've been digging, HARD, just to get some idea of the "average" price for a new 22' cruiser. You want to by a truck, every pic of a 2000 model comes with a price tag. Want to get an idea if you can afford a 22' cruiser, then I guess the answer is "Fella, if you need to ask then you can't afford." C'mon C-Dory Manufacturer, gimme a price. Ranger Tugs (I own one and am looking to downsize to CD) will print the price right on their brochure and then as you add options it tells you what you are into $$ wise. C-Dory, what's up?

C-Brats, help!

Call a Dealer??

I didn't go to the 2020 Seattle Boat Show, but here's pricing from the 2019 show, for the 22' Cruiser. This doesn't include a trailer, so add at least $5k for that, if you need one, not to mention all the electronics and accessories you will likely want.

And a photo of the actual boat...

Have same sheets from previous years, and other models too, buried in my albums somewheres.

My guess is that with a trailer, camper canvas/Bimini, good electronics, stove and or heater, plus taxes you will be close to 100K.

They sure have gone up - pretty sure mine was 26k with twin 45s and a trailer in 1994. And that's about all it had as it came with next to nothing. Alaska Mining and Diving had one for sale a couple of years ago for 72k if memory serves but I think it was a year old brand new model that came with almost nothing....if that makes any sense. So yeah, I think you can expect to pay anywhere from 75-100k on a new CD 22 depending on how you configure it, which by the way, is an insane amount of money for a 22 foot boat.

The 1993 C Dory 22 I had cost about $25,000 when new. It came with the original invoice when I bought it in 2002. Take it back a little further. I had a Owen's Sea Skiff 26', New cost in 1962 was about $5,000. When I got ready to sell it, a gentleman offered me this very strange German car in straight trade for the Owens. There as a 3 pointed star on the grill, and the doors opened in the middle upward. Yep a Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing. Leather interior, Becker Radio, custom paint job.. I had an Sunbeam Alpine Tiger then, and couldn't see owning two sports type cars....
