Battery Monitor Help

Hello. I'm using a AiLi Voltmeter Ammeter Voltage Current Meter Voltmeter Ammeter at the helm to monitor battery life. Newbie mistake, something got left on and the house battery lost charge (monitor no longer reading anything). I was able to recharge the battery using a noco battery charger, all the house electronics seem to be working just fine now - except the battery monitor at the helm (still not even turning on - would always be on prior to this event). I've checked the inline fuse, seems to be ok.

My question - is there a way to reset this thing? It looks like from downloading an instruction manual if it loses charge it may not work correctly.

Here is a link to the manual:

Any insight is appreciated.

Although I have used the Victron 712 (which this Aili is a copy of for about $30) I have used one of these Aili units for over 3 years and it seems to continue to work fine.

Double check: there should be a current wire from the Positive on the battery, and a wire to negative on the shunt to the Aili shunt unit. Double check your wiring set up--I suspect that the wire from the positive on the battery was not re-installed. The shunt goes in the negative, and be sure that the J45 plug is free of damage, and seated well on both the shunt and meter.

Double check that you do the "connection" on the manual, and then the "Adjust" on the manual, precisely as outlined.

I have a complete Victron 602 or 612 (can't remember the model) system I'll let you have for a good price. PM me if you are interested. Note that I am travelling on business right now and won't be able to ship this to anyone for the next two weeks.

I recently installed a Victron SmartShunt ($110). It monitors voltage in/out and SOC (state of charge) for the house battery and displays voltage only for the start batteries. Simply download the VictronConnect app to your phone or tablet and connect to the shunt via Bluetooth. Easy and quick installation -- Highly recommend!
