Two new questions regarding my newly purchased used C-22.
1. I wanted to mount my grill on the boat, which uses a rod holder as it's recepticle. (It's one of the nice stainless steel rectangular shaped grills.) I ended up mounting a rod holder in the starboard aft corner. In retrospect, does anyone see any issues with this, considering the controlled, but open flame of the grill, and the fuel tank vent which is directly under the grill on the boat. (About 12-18" away.) How do others mount their grills?
2. Back to the water and bilge pump questions. As I read some of what others have written, I'm curious how will the boat float with two larger people in the vberth? (About 350 lbs total). For now, I do not have a cockpit canvas, and the 2007 only has the far aft bilge pump. Will the boat sit lower in the bow causing any rain to run forward in the cockpit? How have other's dealt with this? Thanks. Colby
