I hope the product I receive is as advertised.

Don't worry - our good buddy Joe guaranteed it!

Yup!........GUARANTEEEEEED! :hug :rose :rainbow :rose :hug2 *

By me, just like the C-Brat Pennants we designed and universally agreed upon as a Committee of the Whole a couple of years back! :embarrased

Hope this thread has a better outcome! :wink

*If you're not entirely satisfied, Yellowstone John will replace them for free with a pair of his Leopold 6X30 or 8x42 Cascades!

Joe. :thup

I just got home from our local West Marine.... they have glasses on sale...plus on Wed of this week they have a Members sale that give you an additional 20% discount...

We have the Leopold Yosemite and the West Marine 7 power with lighted compass. They both have worked well for us. They are modestly priced and good optical quality. Our original West Marine pair were dropped and ruined and West Marine handed us a new pair that were an upgrade because the original ones were discontinued. That is a pretty solid warrantee. We also have a mounted compass at the helm and a lighted hand bearing Davis compass. I prefer the compass in the binoculars. It is easier to use and more accurate. I like the Leopold because it is so small and light.

Well, I bought a pair as well. I'm sure Joe's good for it if I don't like 'em.

Thanks for the heads up. These'll be my first binocs for boat use. Now all I gotta do is finish the boat. Thanks, Joe for upping my impetus on the project.

I found a bargain on ebay for the 7X50 Tasco OffShore OS36 binoculars

Mine got here today. They work pretty good. Way better than the junkers I already have, but not even close to the ones I used on Yellowstone John's boat a few years back in Cathlamet.

Thanks, Joe, for the find.
