Boat hauling done right

I just used Billy Keenan (732) 567-6066 to haul a 22 cruiser from Florida to California.
He took the time to make sure the boat was tied on the trailer (added a few straps) and moved it over a 6 day period. He drove at 45-47mph.
The boat arrived in fine shape. I found him on Uship.com.
He is insured and moves boats across the US for a living. The cost was about $1/mile.
I highly recommend him!

I had my 26' ProAngler towed from West Palm Beach, Fla. to Wenatchee,Wash. in 2009 for $3200. All was good except that he made the trip in 54 hrs by himself. Do the math. Probably was cruising at 75-80 mph. My trailer tires (China Bombs) were trash.
After installing new tires I pulled it to Anchorage.

Keenan numbers look like an average of about 50 hours drive time. But at 45 mph, seems really slow, to make it in 50 hours, and to be traveling freeway routes. His web site on U-Ship looks pretty good though, and the Sprinter idea for a two rig makes good sense too.

I used Cory Gracey's company but another driver from Fla. did the job, not Cory.

I don't think Cory is driving anymore. When I talked to him last Spring we was scheduling and brokering, and had a couple drivers taking his hauls.
