Boat Name

I am expecting delivery of my new 22 in the next few weeks. The name C-Whisper appeals to me. Does anyone know if that name is taken by any other dory folks?

Jim, the "Our C-Dorys" link above is a list of forum members with their boat names. Your name C-Whisper has not been used.

There are so many names I figured it would take a week to scroll through.

Thanks Harvey...i am not finalized on the name but I do like it. I am 57 years old and feel like a kid at Christmas. Waiting for my boat to be delivered is driving me mad. At least it makes the time go slow if you know what I mean.

There is no requirement that your boat name be unique -- there are several Hunky Dories, for example. I would encourage you to focus on choosing a name that is most meaningful to you, and let the public be damned! :mrgreen:
