Boat trader

Has anyone used Boat trader to buy or sale. I have sent e mails on 4 different boats and have not received a reply on any. I was thinking of posting my boat on there but not sure I should spend the money now

We've used it selling our Parker and it was successful. I suspect the problem your having with no replies is due to the difficulty updating the ads. They automatically expire so its easier to just leave the ad up after a sale, unfortunately.

Our boat sold within about a month. I did receive a couple of what I suspected was scam emails though, so beware. That will happen on any medium.

My CD 26 Venture sold on boattrader.com in a couple weeks back in March '17.

I did receive several emails from interested parties after it sold which stopped
after my ad was removed. Yes, there were some scam emails offering to over
see the sale.

It's a jungle out there...

Aye.

I spent money on boat trader and got several hits. C-Brat for sale by owner was the source for both my purchase and subsequent sale. During the time on Boattrader I was contacted by POP Yachts. They offer to sell without cost to the owner and will post to all the site again at no cost. They charge the buyer with a commission. Might be worth a look

Of course, posting on the C-Brats site should be done in addition to an outside
boat seller. You want exposure. A nominal fee from boattrader.com will not be
significant when your boat sells.

I don't think you want a Bayliner in the sales section. I went bigger thinking it would be better, it's not just more expensive and more work
