Boatless in Bellingham

Well we sold C-weetness our tc24. This evening I have no man cave to go to. We cannot watch the weather to see if there is a break in the fall storms for a short cruise. No boat to just sit on. Gee we need to find a new boat. Boatless, what a terrible space in our lives. Anybody been in the same spot?
 
I've been aimless in Anchorage, and am currently clueless in Carmichael...

I feel for ya, mate.

OTOH, my wife wishes I was more like you. I have 3 boats here at the house and another in storage...

Yep!! for the first time in over a decade, we're boatless too. We sold our Glasply last week to make room for a Cdory.

Now all I can think about is going winter crabbing and blackmouth fishing, errrgghh :shock:

That condition lasted about 3 months for us last year, from the time Thataway left the house, until I went to pick up "Thisaway" in VA.
 
I would like to again put in a good word for the 16 footer. I guess it's not for everyone, but it sure is for us. Simply put, it gets us out on the water with minimal problems at minimal cost and minimal effort. Heck, with our various canvases, we could sleep on it and even have a semi private head, if we want it. Most of all, it's what we don't have that we like the best, minimal systems, few problems, and low cost. So, if you find yourself a little antsy, consider the 16 as a viable, even if temporary, antidote.

I'm glad your boat old in a timely manner. Now, you can move onto the next adventure! I want you to know how much I enjoyed our conversations while visitng with you on your boat. I hope that we can still have some more in the near future as I have some questions that I'm sure you and I could have some fun with.

Thanks for checking on me. Looks like we probably won't see you for a while. We hauled R-MATEY out at high tide Sunday morning - 5:45 am - that was a thrill for sure...in the dark. Took her to our storage unit. She's high, dry and safe for the winter.

For me, withdrawl lasted about twelve months.

I sold Naknek in May of 2008, and by May of 2009 I realized what I'd done and was shopping for a new 'dealer.

Katmai entered the picture, I grabbed her, and have never looked back.

Yes, an addiction, but such a Wonderful addiction!
