I’m thinking ahead to how I want to outfit my project boat. We enjoy crabbing, but always bring the catch home to cook and we cook it outside in a big pot on a BBQ grill to keep smells out of the house. Now that we have a boat capable of extended trips on the water, I'm wondering how to cook crab. I’d prefer to do it outside in the cockpit to keep the smell out of the cabin. I've thought about installing a small grill in a rod holder mount, but will that be stable enough for a large pot of water? I’m curious to hear how others accomplish this.
