Brass porthole install

No arguments here, just trying to learn the nauticalese. I learned something already but it appeasrs more pertainent to sail boats. Maybe our experts thataway and JamesTXSD could chime in. bmacpiper your boat is classie and I wish Les was located in the upper midwest eventhought I've never met him or his work; thers's been nothing but praise for him on this site. Oh, "drippy gutter thingy" is not only nautical but also quite descriptive.

I didn't find those, thanks a lot! That does make it look like the cabinsides are indeed thinner, maybe 3/8" or so.
