Why I never uncouple the winch strap until the boat is floating.

Had that happen to me once about 35 years ago

First time launching on a steep ramp in Clearwater

Luckily it was a small boat and I was able to push it into the water

:D

Or come to think of it

I believe it just slid on down by itself
