Bunk guide-ons

I think you have the same model Magic Tilt that we do, when we first got our boat it would catch on the fender padding, unless we held it off when we pulled up the ramp. I contacted Magic Tilt, they have a office in Dunn, NC there salesman came by our house measured and ordered the metal bracket's. This was about four month's after we bought the boat, they did the bracket's for free, I installed them, they also gave me an extra fender but I had already straightened my bent one, so if you need it or measurement's for the side bunk bracket's let me know. It's nice to hear aboutall these options.

Things that work, and things that don't... for particular individuals and conditions.

It will allow those with launching problems to select from the various alternatives.

I doubt there's any one solution that is universally always the best, simplest, cheapest, and agreed upon by all.

An added feature to the side boards on my king trailer is centering guides at the very back of the trailer. They are short and canted outward as you can see in the photo. You can also see the side strake on the hull which Sea Wolf observed can catch on the side board sometimes, although I've haven't experienced that myself. The rear guides prevent the boat from wobbling off center as the hull settles onto the bunks, which the long boards by themselves will allow to happen on occasion.

One has to remember that the ease or difficulty of loading a 22 vs a 25 because of the beam at the chine is different--as well as the weight of the boat. What works for the 22 may not work as well on the 25. In this case, the PO asked about the 25.
