BYRDMAN Pass-n-Gas on Great Loop

Pat,
Glad to hear your on the water again!
You need to come back out west and get some cold water pacific oysters.
I'll even treat you and Mr. Potato head to dinner.

Hi Byrdman, Glad to see you on the Water again, will be following you on your long trip. We just got back from Fort Myers Fl. Sunday, done some great cruising.

The boat's name is pass-n-gas. At my age I have learned not to trust some things. Staying on the hook this morning in an anchorage near madeira beach, FL. Winds constant at 23+ mph and we need to take on fuel so we are just stayin put till the wind lays some.....today or tommorow.

I will be back out west in tatterville around October. Marc....for sure will give you a shout and may even lean on you for some of those swamp fire shrimp and quart jar of oysters!! Still a few days out. We are traveling trawler speed.....when we can move in the wind.

Had to tuck in behind some small islands to get out of the winds whick are 18-20 constant with occational 25-28 gust this morning. Having to wait the wind ot as it is time to go outside into the gulf from just south of Port Richey to Crystal River area. With rest today....and if winds stop this evening we may shoot for a night crossing window. Mother Nature in charge for sure now. Happy Easter to all.

Hi Pat,

Good to see you back again. Behave yourself and watch those winds. Sometimes they go up instead of down.

Just watched you pass by the house. I didn't have the handheld handy to hail you. What a beautiful day for a cruise! A dolphin jumped right in front of your boat. Nice trawler, definitely not a C-Dory... Have a safe trip.

Just talked to Pat, There is some type of hand off happening this PM, and Mike Byrd and Jeff Bringer are driving down to Pensacola. Pat's ETA at Oyster Bar Marina is at about 2:30 PM. Pat says that they are running at about 7 mph (doing their part for fuel conservation!).
