C-Brat Burgee: redux

Good decisions, well laid out and logical, do it. Set up the payment arrangements and we'll pay up front with no qualms. Small price to pay for the honor, and my boat doesn't look anything like the burgee. Goes to show a Brat is a Brat no matter what he pilots!
Thanks Da Nag for bringing this to fruition. Owe you a beer or two down the road.

Bill, Great. No problem here with paying ahead. Been looking forward to this for 6 years.

I'll stick with my original order (2).

Thank you for all your effort.

yup I'm still in and OK with all the terms. $2 might even be a bit light, hopefully all your expenses are covered. just post preferred payment method and will do- thanks for handling this, pretty cool opportunity for everyone involved. :beer

I still like my old bungee better but I will take one anyhow. I will fly them both 8)

As for payment< will you take a first born? hes a hard worker and does not eat much. If not $36 is fine. Paypal or what ever you want to use is fine also. Like you said, make the decisions and get it done.

Hey Tom. You can use your old bungee to hang your new burgee :smilep . Hi Bill. We are still good for two and thanks for all the work done on this project. I think we are passing on the Seattle show this year and will miss everyone but the Vancouver Show just makes it much simpler for spending all my hard earned cash on stuff without boarder crossings so if you can figure a cost of the Burgee's and cost of shipping to Victoria just let us know and we will get you some money when you need it. Cheers
Terry & Valerie

Update: The sample burgee has been ordered. Should have it in 3 weeks or so. I probably won't start taking orders until it arrives, in the unlikely event there's a problem. Last thing I want to deal with is a bunch of refunds.

Also - it occurred to me that not everyone will have a flag holder. I sure don't. In chatting with the guy that is handling the burgee, we can get some through him at a pretty decent discount if ordered in quantity. We were specifically talking about rail mount options, nothing else.

Before I sink any additional time/effort into this, is this something of interest to those of you ordering?

Perhaps. Of course there is the issue that the rail sizes vary a bit between the 25/Tomcat and the other CD's. All of us have some rail that is 7/8" and specifically, I think we could all work with a mount that fits the handrail on the roof. However, if one wants to mount it on the aft rail on a 25 or Tomcat, I think those are 1 1/8". For me, I'd probably stick it in a rod holder and wouldn't need a mount, but if there was a good deal on some other mounting option, I'd consider it.

We could use one for Salty, the top rail mount would work fine. I would probably take two, one for the Burgee and one for the Maple Leaf.

Thanks

Terry

Latest update, and final word on pricing - it's gone up another $2. $32 per burgee plus shipping.

Unfortunately, when the details made it to the embroiderer who is handling the boat portion of the burgee - their quote was $6 per burgee higher than anticipated. The burgee supplier is eating half of that since it caught him by surprise, and I'll eat $1 of the $2 buffer I had built into each sale.

Sorry, folks - couldn't keep it to the $30 goal, but my hope is it will be spectacular...

I'm still going to order 100, but If the price is now beyond where some of you wanted to pay, don't sweat it. I'm sure there will be folks late to the party over the next couple of months who will pick up any extras, and if there are still extras come SBS time they'll be there for purchase as well.

I've just about got the ordering process figured out - should have details on that in another week or so.

Once again, way to go--thank you!!!! My C-Dory is a great boat, I love it. This web site and group is frosting on the cake--really good frosting!!

Can hardly wait. Spring can't be that far away. Just got to get Christmas out of the way and it will be boating season again. Thanks again for all the foot work :beer :beer
