Hi everyone,

Anyone love their trailer?

We need to either swap the drum brakes for marine grade disc brakes on our boat (we are often in the ocean)🌊 , or maybe just get a new trailer. The trailer we have for our 1997 seems to have come with the boat (or is just pretty old) and it’s not our favorite.

Just looking for some feedback if anyone has some.

Thank you,
Stacey (Serenity)

If you are considering a new trailer, I would encourage you to consider a tandem axel (2 wheels on each side) trailer. It will tow much easier, straighter, and it will be a much better ride for your boat. That is a big difference from just changing brakes, but on a new trailer you could start out with Kodiak stainless discs. You are down in CA, so withing striking distance from Pacific Trailer manufacturing, and they make super nice trailers, sturdy and near bullet proof. For me, it was worth the investment. The change to tandem from single (both were/are) Pacific's. was a huge difference. I did lower the bunks about 4 inches, which helped with towing, launching and boarding the boat when on the trailer.
