C-Dory Aesthetics vs. Functionality - which is it?

We went with C-Dory originally with about an 80% function over 20% form balance with Cindie actually liking the look of other boats (express cruisers) more. The look has grown on us, and so has the group plus with our growing knowledge of boating over the past 10 years, we now know these boats are a good buy is so many ways with this group being icing on the cake. Our daughter now thinks express cruisers (sea ray) are the best design on the planet, but she is 9 and her boating experience is largely interior in nature.

It was all function for us, not that the c-dory is an ugly boat... it's beautiful. We needed a boat with heat, a stove and the ability to sleep on it, and protect our newborn baby from the elements. Our previous boat was open and we felt guilty with her so young and vulnerable in the hot or cold, depending on the day.

The C-dory was the cheapest power boat we could afford that fit that bill. I also was really interested in the Arima 22' Sea legend, Skagit Orca 27, the Sea Sport and Parker pilot house boats. Those were all waaaay out of our budget. C-dory it had to be.

I'm glad we bought our C-dory when we did and used the hell out of it. It was a very loved member of our family.
