C-Dory Logo decals

We are trying to spiff up our 1985 Angler which does not have C-Dory decals and we would love to get a set. I have read the older forums re: logo decals but it has been quite awhile since a posting and now I wouldn't know who to contact with owner changes, etc.
Did anyone get an extra set or have a suggestion? I could try Craft Originators as suggested on one of the old posts, but not sure if I can get just one set. Thanks. Pamela

Pamela, if you can't find an original set, you can always have something made at a FastSigns or similar vinyl sign maker.

Best wishes,
Jim B.

Pamela,

My apologies for missing that e-mail. Here is a link to the "Naming our C-Dory" album in the SleepyC album:

I got the C-Dory decals by calling the factory, (Fluid Marine at the time) and asking for them. I belive they were $5, don't remember if that was for the set or the shipping.

I would call SeaSport and ask. Can't hurt. Next option would be a knockoff from a vinyl sign shop.

For future reference, a PM will probably work better than the e-mail. No spam there. (Thanks to the chief nerds on this site.)

Don and Brenda, thanks for the kind words.

I was lucky enough to get a set of C-Dory raised w/gold decals from Fluid Marine probably on their last day of existence. No charge besides.
You can see them in my album. The Canadian folks call them "deck-els".

I also bought their last blue helmsman seat with the C-Dory logo on it. I had another made to match it. Just good timing and luck.

Harvey,

Yours are just like mine. I left the adddress on from the old decal as it was from Three Rivers, Fla.. Kind of cool up here in Alaska. The boat has many miles on it.
How do you keep your boat finish looing so good.?????

Thanks for the compliment.

I only take pictures of it when it's shinney :wink

Actually, I keep it covered when not in use, stored inside for the winter, and deoxidized occasionally, ( with Meguiar's #49 Heavy-Duty Oxidation Remover) and then covered with Starbrite's Premium Marine Polish with PTEF.

I know I tried to get a set of the raised decals ,but never got'em. So now I guess what do we do is find out where C-Dory got them and see if we can get them direct? I'm going to see if any of the decal makers have this type of decal in the meantime.

Thanks so much!!!! I just called the Fastsigns shop in Carson City and he remembered the order. They will be sent this week. Not free, but at least I can check it off my list now.

Be sure to clean any remnants of the old decal. I've been very satisified with mine. A lot of work went into the detail. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have trouble.

Bill

I just ordered a set for my 2005 CD25. $35 plus tax including postage. I tried getting some from the factory up until last week, and they wanted $18 but couldn't figure out how to take my money.

I love the C-Brats...everyone there to help solve your issue. Thanks again Bill for the Fast signs/Carson City suggestion. It looks like a couple of us will be getting our CD Logo (vinyl) decals!

Just ordered a set for the "new" 16. I have finished the polish and wax project. Put on the new "Alyssa Jean" and the last thing is the replacement of the old C-Dory decals.
