C-Dory Rental in San Juan Islands?

We have some friends who would like to rent a C-Dory for a few days in the San Juans of WA. Anyone know of a rental for our boats in this area? Thanks.
 
I have my doubts that one can rent a C-Dory in the San Juans per se. Orcas is out of the question. They only have a 16 foot open cockpit boat for rent at Deer Harbor. Lopez also is unlikely. The one possibility there is the Islands Marine Center (360.378.2688) but I have never seen a rental there. If they do have one, it likely is a SeaSport boat. Friday Harbor is the best bet, but I've only seen charters there. Call the Harbor at 360.468.3377 for info. Anacortes might have somthing, but a C-Dory I don't know. Try the chamber of commerce 360.293.7911. Hopefully someone else can chime in with better suggestions.
 
There are several boat charter outfits here in Anacortes but they all seem to focus on the 35' and up (power and sail) market. Here is a URL for one (I know the owners and some of the employees and believe them to be reputable.)

Thanks for the help, folks -- looks like it will be hard to locate a C-Dory for rent in the San Juans -- we'll follow up the leads and hope maybe others will chime in if they know of any rentals. Thanks.
 
I hope this doesn't cross the line between business and pleasure on this sight but in regards to your question about chartering a c-dory in the San Juan Islands there are no c-dorys available, however I own a c-dory 25 and I do skippered charters on it out of friday harbor. Look up Captain Carli if you like

On one of my first visits to the San Jaun islands they rented C-dory 16's from Friday Harbor - that was in the early 90's.
