Is anyone else having difficulties viewing this site. It's filled with ads and disappears while I am navigating from page to page. Thanks
 
Definitely seeing more ads, as warned by Will, “Danag” we would. Other than the increase in ads, the site is still working well for me & the increase no concern if it helps keep this site up & running.

Thanks for the reply, the site seems stable now. We all definatly want to keep this great site running. I will just have to live with it, I guess.
 
On my Samsung tablet the ads mess with my page layout and with navigating around the site. It is more than annoying. It makes the site pretty much useless.

OTOH, on my desktop, I have no issues at all because I installed an ad blocker. Kinda hate to do that because it defeats the whole purpose of the ads, i.e., paying for the site. I will just have to remind myself to increase the amount and/or frequency of my deposits in the Tip Jar.

As mentioned in the other post, if ads are giving you grief - either with site functionality, or you simply find them too annoying - block them. We'd obviously prefer you leave them in place, but not if that means you find yourself visiting us less.

I'll go into more detail in another post soon, but many more changes are coming - for the better. I've an excellent software developer working on a major site upgrade right now.

Regarding what's been discussed in this thread, one of many coming changes will be 100% ad free options. That could come in the form of a small membership fee, as a reward for longevity of C-Brat membership, site content contributions or some combination of any/all of these. We've tons of options there and we'll discuss and gather feedback when the time comes.
