Many of you know the C-Lou's - Jon and Cynthia. They've shared some exciting news with a few of you privately, and I've been given the "OK" to share it with the rest of their C-Brat friends.
Jon and Cynthia would post this on their own, but they are currently without Internet access, and probably won't have it for a while. I'm in posession of their computer, which needs some TLC...they won't be back online for a spell. Therefore, don't be surprised if you PM or email them, and receive no reply for a while.
Anyway, on to the news...
Last Thanksgiving, Dana and I went up to WA to check on our barn progress, and spend the holidays with the C-Lou's. When we arrived, we were greeted with quite the surprise...a "For Sale" sign in their yard.
Turns out, they had made an offer on a beautiful piece of property. And the best part...we're going to be neighbors! Their new place is in Freshwater Bay, just a quick a 5 minute walk from our future home. Or, as Jon likes to say, "I can drive a golf ball to your property."
Dana and I just returned from up there, where we (along with R-Matey's Joe and Ruth) helped them move in. You've never seen a happier couple; the view of the Olympics from their place is fantastic, and Jon's got a great shop. I'm not sure, but I think he'll let Cynthia in there on occasion.
How cool is it? This little goodie was slated to be removed by the previous owner, but some last minute negotiations resulted in it staying. For the men in the audience...eat your heart's out. Tim the Tool Man Taylor ain't got nuttin' on Jon...

We'd have lifted Jon's Dodge, but just in case the thing had problems and the truck tumbled down, we wanted to put something up there that would survive the fall.
So - even though they won't see this post for a while, join me in congratulating the C-Lou's on their new digs. It couldn't have happened to a nicer couple, and Dana and I are truly blessed to have such good friends so close by.
