C-Pearl - Cumberland River Pearl Found

Hey Gang! Well, the Cumberland River C-Brat community has just increased in size... Yep, C-Pearl, Jeff and Cathy Brigner have now moved into their new home in Mt. Juliet, TN on the Cumberland River, ...about MM 230 ish area. I have not been to their dock via the water, but was there helping with the household goods when the trucks arrived. The only day in many with no rain which was a Blessing.

We were also joined by another pair of southern (now...) C-Brats, Rick and Donna from Foggy Dew...

So... enjoy a couple of shots of C-Pearl's views...prior to the leaves falling (and that view now is truly awesome...particuarly at night..!!).... and... do not worry.. we will get a C-Brat gathering put on again soon...but need to get a little settle in time and C-Pearl on sight in the boat dock.

We just got our Internet service hooked up today. It's been a long couple of days. Byrdmans sister Joan fixed a huge pot of spaghetti and we ate that for several meals. Thanks Byrdman, Rick and Donna "Foggy Dew". Don't know how we would have made it if you would not have come up and helped. Still have a long way to go but are way ahead because of you guys. We are looking forward to life on the Cumberland. Byrdman.....I'm surprised there is no beaver pics. :lol: We stopped for some Christmas present opening today because the Grandson headed home to Alabama with his Mom this morning.

Great to see ya back online Jeff. May come by on the way to Mom's late afternoon. Got some hot chicken nuggets cooked up for ya.

Hey Rick! Was great to see you and Donna again even if for a brief evening. Your work on the blinds looked great as I saw when I brought Sherryl bye to see the C-Pearl's landing zone and home.

I guess Jeff went ahead and mounted the ceiling fans due to him not being able to get it to work as a prop for the blender...??

Can't wait till we can gather up again soon and cruise a bit....

Maybe a February trip....down to the historical Honky Tonks of Nashville for a night??

Your place looks like a dream come true for an old salt. To keep those beavers at bay put some light chicken wire loosely around the trees.

Brenda wants some warmer weather before another cruise (March or April). However for me ice on the "Falcon" is great.

I truly believe I could live on the "Falcon" forever but there is family, church, and the farm.
